What's marriage?
You know, everyone is forever and always asking,
"How do you know if he/she is
The One?"
& the usual answer is most probably a gut feeling-
"I just know it"
"You'll know it when you experience it."
It's just....
a feeling, as a matter of fact.
& so, people then go into marriage ever so certainly that
"Yep, He/She is The One"
But, is there a
happily ever after following that?
A pity, & sad to say,
i doubt so.
As a matter of fact.
Not because i'm being negative about this.
Especially in this era of 21st century,
yet again.
Relationships
ARE fragile.
You can see young people getting into relationships at a ridiculously young age;
People changing boy/girlfriends ever so easily & readily,
just like how you change your day to day attire.
Marriage?
Indeed, is just a piece of paper; a certificate; a process.
Commitment; Love; Faith; Responsibility & all?
Where are all these already?
A piece of paper- easily crumpled, torn, burnt.
That's how easy a marriage can fail, and break.
I really feel for my girls,
whenever I encounter situations or hear stories of such.
Real life situations and events.
I just feel sorry & sad for them, having to go through all these at such a tender young age.
Can't help to put myself in their shoes..
How would i be handling all these if i were the one who's going through all these?
Value & treasure your loved ones.
Saw an old couple holding hands, walking along the street as they get to work in the morning,
as the bus I was in passed by them.
Most of us do get this feeling of
bliss and sweetness whenever we see old couples still ever so loving at such an old age right.
I believe it's due to
envy.
Wanting, & hoping we will end up with our loved one the same way,
as if our love never dies,
& will continue burning, in the long run- until our deathbed. (:
